Ability to work with minimal supervision. Neat in appearance. Good communication skills. Must hold valid Class 4 Alberta drivers licence. Ability to work within a team concept. RESPONSIBILITIES: Effect basic repairs in various areas of hotels. Assists with major repairs. Advise Supervision of any maintenance problems and/or potential problems. Assist with other maintenance projects as required. Assists with the training of new employees. Set-up of meeting rooms. Furniture movement as required. Some public area cleaning. Yard work, including snow removal, lawn work, etc. Carpet shampooing. Chemical treatment of spas. Luggage handling. Assist with supplying guest rooms. Assist with security. Perform other related duties as directed by Supervisor. GENERAL: Maintenance Workers are vital link to the success of our properties. The Maintenance Worker must effect repairs, deal with our guests, handle baggage and provide other services as required, keep the physical plants of our properties in excellent working condition and the physical appearance of our properties very pleasing to our guests. We offer a bonus program for completion % hours worked. Also we provide employee paid benefits and offer staff recreational activities. There are five properties in Jasper National Park in the Canadian Rockies Accommodation will be provided for 9.50 $ CDN per day. Travel and interview expenses will not be reimbursed.
