JOB DESCRIPTION: The position is a skilled labour role, in which the the sheet metal worker works within a team, reporting to the site suberintendent to lay a variety of roofing and siding on industrial, institutional and commercial buildings. Responsibilities include: - Installation of architectural sheet metal applications, including steel roofing and wall finishes, composite aluminium wall panels and custom zinc or copper applications. - Set up scaffolding to provide safe access to work sites and experience in using powered lift equipment. - Provide training to more jr. level, less experienced workers - Experience with various types of building membrane systems and rain screen contstruction is an asset - Ability to design and work with all types of architectural metal finishes is required. APPLICANTS PROFILE: - Journeyman Cerificate (Gesellenbrief) and at least one year working experience - English ARBEITSBEGINN: So bald wie möglich nach Erteilung der Arbeitsgenehmigung. CONDITION OF CONTRACT: - Salary: 25 CAN$ per hour. - 40 hrs / week with opportunities for overtime. - Fringe Benefit: Flight, temporary accomodations and local transportation for a period of 90 days. - Duration of contract: 1 to 2 years depending on the issued work permit.
