RESPONSIBILITIES: Take reservations, cancellations, etc. Enter reservation information in computer. Block rooms. Check-in guests. Post charges to guest folios. Handle guest enquiries and provide information on the hotel, the town and the surrounding area. Provide service to all guests and visitors. Manage guest complaints and issues. Check-out guests. Be responsible for front desk float and manage monetary transactions. Make deposits at the end of shift. Assist with the training of new staff. Provide information re: counts, special guests, etc., to other departments. Co-ordinate room status with Housekeeping Department. Ensure office and lobby areas are kept neat and clean. Learn the night audit procedures. Perform other related duties as directed. To know and follow all Company policies and procedures. GENERAL: The Central Reservations Clerks are often the first person potential guests speak with considering staying at our properties. The first impression they receive from speaking on the telephone with the CRC could mean the difference weather or not they will book rooms and/or services with Mountain Park Lodges. the Central Reservations Clerk plays a key role in ensuring our guests have a good first impression of the Coporation, providing them with proper rates, providing them with correct information to their inquiries and in assisting the team in achieving the Mission Statement. We offer a bonus program for completion % hours worked. Also we provide employee paid benefits and offer staff recreational activities. There are five properties in Jasper National Park in the Canadian Rockies Accomodation will be provided for 9.50 $ CDN per day. Travel and interview expenses will not be reimbursed.
