Finishing Room Supervisor - Foundry (m/f) for Canada
Job description
This position requires day to day coantact with lead hands and shop floor personnel and the managing of inventory, people, machinery, materials, budgets, quality and methods. A background in a foundry enviroment would be considered an asset. The successful candidates must have a working knowledge of the English language and a good work ethic. Ability to read drawings, coputer liteacy for spreadsheets and word processing, and a technological diploma or similar would be an asset.
Applicants profile
- Supervisory experience, ideally in a manufacturing or foundry environment.
- The successful candidate must possess excellent presentation, organization and communication skills.
- 3-5 years previous work experience.
- Read, write & speak English
- Understand and interpret blue prints.
- Good work ethic, self motivated with safe work practices.
Contract conditions
- Place of Work: Winkler, Manitoba
- Starting date: as soon as possible
- Permanent fulltime job
- 8 hours, various shifts (Days, Evenings, Nights)
- Deductions for taxes and social security contributions: approximately 35 %
- Fringe benefits: Medical, Dental Benefits, Short an Long Term Disability/RRSP
- Travel and interview expenses will not be reimbursed
