Chef de Partie (m/f) für Kanada Position: Seasonal Full Time 32-44 hours, Uniform provided Rate of pay: CDN $ 17.03 per hour Accommodation will be provided for a daily rate of CDN $ 10.56 Travel and interview expenses will not be reimbursed. Meals will be provided Reports to: Sous Chef Responsibilities - Strive to uphold all hygiene and sanitary regulations and be cleaned and presentable at all times (i.e. report to duty punctually wearing a clean and correct uniform and safety shoes) - Ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues and by upholding the safety rules provided by the department - Ensure that colleagues practice safe work habits and inform the appropriate supervisor of any violations. - Ensure that all equipment in the kitchen is clean and in a good working condition before use and report any deficiencies. - Adhere to sanitation standards as outlined by the Public Health Department - To seek opportunities to increase revenues, minimize expenses and increase employee productivity without sacrificing guest services. - Promote professional work habits that will develop the respect and will create return business from customers. - Recognize a job well done and reward it appropriately. (thank you, line ups, daily feedback, BRAVOGRAMS...) - Promote good relationships with other internal departments. - Take initiative to come up with new ideas. - Ensure that you sign in/out and check your recorded hours. Promptly report any payroll inaccuracies to Executive Chef's Administrative Assistant. - Ensure that any accident within your dept no matter how small is reported and the proper documentation is filled out, when needed a Workers Compensation Board form must be completed and sent to Human Resources Immediately if medical attention is required. - Attend and participate in departmental meetings. - Read and Follow Prep lists. - Read the employee information board. - To provide fast and efficient guest service and respond quickly to the customers requests. - to adhere to the Fairmont Banff Springs Service Plus Commitments.
