Responsibilities: -Supervision of Host/ess, Servers and Bartenders on shift. -Complete shift coordination as per schedules. -Ensure a high standard of food service. -Settle guest complaints in a friendly and satisfactory manner. -Communicate complaints and problems to Restaurant Manager. -Train new staff. -Develop weekly schedules. -Work with Restaurant Manager to ensure goals are achieved. -Assist with daily labour cost controls. -Liaison with kitchen staff for team work in providing high standard of food service. -Resolve human resource issues as required. -Assist with restaurant revenue and profit management. -Perform duties of Host/ess, Servers and Bartenders as required. -Perform other related duties as directed by Manager. General: -The operation strives to provide for a very high standard of food and beverage service while still making profit. Guests will be looking forward to a return visit and encouraging new guest business if we can maintain high standards. The role of the Dining Room Supervisor is vital in achieving those goals.
