For our Customer, an intergovernmental organisation for astronomical research, we are looking for several Position: Database Administrators (m/w) 664-3407 Job Description: - Provide support to multiple Sybase client and middleware installationsAssist users and developers with database design, - Plan and implement server migrations and upgrades, - Troubleshooting and dealing with performance problems, - Setup, maintain and monitor the data replication routes and threads - Plan and implement server migrations and upgrades, - Resource management, server administration, security, backup and recovery, performance and - tuning, advising users on server usage and SQL.
