Job description: Based in Bonn, you will be offering technical support to both pre-sales and post sales business to partners or customers regarding Huawei NGN Network products. Responsibilities: (might be one or several of 1) to 3) - different focus in different stages) 1) Presales support Equipment lab testing support including test environment setup, test equipment management and maintenance Customer communication and workshops Bidding support on product Technical Service related part Follow up issues that may arise during testing/workshop/bidding activities 2) Engineering support Supervising project engineering process, including hardware and software supervision, acceptance testing Onsite support for site survey, installation or commissioning when necessary Interface with engineering partner to locate technical problems that may arise during the engineering 3) Maintenance support Coordination of SLM and TLM technical support service to customer or partner independently or jointly with a technical support team On site support in case of major or critical problems that cannot be solved by customer or local subcontractor according to SLA Responsible for handling technical cases on ticket system and keep tracking these problems during the whole resolving process Requirements Bachelor degree and above in telecommunications, computer science or electronics At least two years relevant work experience in the telecom industry Good knowledge of LAN, xDSL, VoIP Telecommunication Protocols/Standards (TCP/IP, SIP, H248, etc) knowledge Proven ability to diagnose and localize issues using logical analysis techniques Ability to understand the commercial environment whilst focusing on technical issues Ability to work across cultural and organizational boundaries, and operate successfully in an intense business environment Ability to work with customers, internal business unit organizations and third party vendors Ability to work as part of a team Ability to perform job functions to standards under pressure of tense/confrontational situations Ability to remain calm and courteous with demanding/difficult customers and/or situations Ability to provide concise and clear, written and verbal reports Ability to work independently Fluent in German and English, Chinese an advantage Keen to learn and a fast learner Your 1st contact Please send your detailed resume/CV in English via E-Mail to Antje.Jaeger@huawei.com or Stefan.Schierack@huawei.com .
