UI Engineering Lead (m/f) for Canada Slant Six Games is a videogame development studio that specializes in creating games for both the Sony PlayStation Portable and Sony PlayStation3 next generation console. Responsibilities: The UI Engineering Lead is responsible for leading a team of user interface programmers and help design, implement, and refine the overall UI experience for one of our games currently in development. The UI Engineering Lead will work closely with other Art and Design leads to ensure that all UI functionality is carried through to completion and provides an incredible player experience. Applicants profile A successful performer in this role will: - Have experience managing teams and project task plans - Demonstrate proficiency in C++ - Understand software engineering practices - Communicate effectively at all levels Education and Experience: - Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience - 2+ years in a leadership role - 3+ years of game development experience would be an asset.
