Over £50 million has been invested in the Power Electronics and Machines Centre (PEMC) at the University of Nottingham to accelerate the adoption of electrification technologies into widespread use. This includes a 22-megawatt laboratory dedicated to research, development, manufacturing and testing of electrical machines and drives with over 200 people working in the building.
